Tree trimming requires a high level of training in order to work safely. The nature of tree trimming lends itself to many hazards. There is a potential for serious falls and the risk of coming in contact with energized utilities, falling trees, contacting poison ivy and even snakes. The supervisor is responsible for all the decisions affecting the crew.
