Under OSHA regulation CFR 1910.22, employers must ensure that all places of employment are kept in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Slips, Trips and Falls is an issue that affects each workplace as all worksites have hazards that can cause workers to fall and injure themselves. Each day, over 25,000 slip, trip and falls accidents occur; in fact, this makes up 15% of all accidents that occur in the workplace and is the 2nd leading cause of injury. These falls occur from untidy workspaces, slippery surfaces and uneven walking surfaces.

These micro-learning clips are designed to help learners understand what are the different factors that cause slips, trips and falls; how to properly avoid slips; how to avoid tripping hazards; what are the proper shoes to wear that prevent slips; how to safely handle a fall. As simple as it may sound, preventing slips, trips and falls is a major problem in all workplaces and without proper training can lead to workers severely hurting themselves.
