  Introducing A New Incident Reporting Feature: Illness Records.
   
  Having a fully functional and well rounded online system is something that everyone can appreciate. Not just learning based but all inclusive with record keeping and tracking. To help with OSHA compliance and with the rise of COVID-19, we have added Illness tracking to our record keeping features.
   
  How does illness record keeping help you? As of January 1, 2017, OSHA’s rule for improving the tracking of workplace injuries and illnesses went into effect. The new rule requires establishments with 250 or more employees to submit their injury and illness records electronically. Our illness tracking feature will help you easily and effectively stay compliant, as well as keep your illness records in one place. Create records in your portal, upload and store any documents involved in each incident, and add essential notes. Access these records as you need them right from your dashboard.

  We have been in the process of transitioning from what some of you may know as WAVE to the new and improved SafetySoft.
  
  As we make this change we wanted to provide clarity on what to expect. The WAVE homepage will now redirect to the SafetySoft homepage, you may still access login from the SafetySoft homepage however via the login link at the top of the page or from the login link within the navigation bar. As we move forward you will notice WAVE less and less with SafetySoft taking it's place.
  
  As for your portal performance, you can expect no interference or issues while these updates take place. As always we welcome any feedback or suggestions, which can be provided here. We want to thank you for sticking with us as we better ourselves and your user experience!

  We are proud to introduce our Course Builder feature! 

  This feature will allow you to take your own content and bring it together in a course. From courses as simple as uploading documents you want your employees to review and tracking that they saw them, to building full-on courses out of company powerpoints and videos and accompanying questions to keep your learner’s score along the way, and everything in-between.

  This feature is available with certain packages and some of you may have noticed a change on your Dashboard already. If you would like to see how to create a course from start to finish please visit our Knowledge Base or click HERE.

  Having a fully functional and well rounded online system is something that everyone can appreciate. Not just learning based but all inclusive with record keeping and tracking. After conversing with our customers we’ve decided to expand on that and are proud to offer new features.

  I’m sure you’ve seen our newsletters involving the Safety Toolbox. In case you missed it or are wondering “what is the Safety Toolbox exactly?” Consider it a directory of safety training resources at the click of a button. This feature houses hundreds of training resource options gathered for professionals like you to utilize for your training needs.

  The following tools come inside the Safety Toolbox:

  • Toolbox Talks
  • Safety Checklists

  Now you can prepare for safety meetings or classroom-based training quickly and effortlessly by using this central location for your safety resources. Another great addition to our training tools is Safety Shorts. Safety Shorts are 1-5 minute video clips of specific regulations or standards for review. Great for a quick toolbox talk or a safety refresher. Don’t waste time sitting through a whole video to train on one distinct standard. Find the exact training you need in moments with our Safety Shorts directory.

  Recording incidents is an important part of workplace documentation. With that in mind, we decided to create a general reporting feature where you can record incidents and near misses. Create records in your portal, upload and store any documents involved in each incident, and add essential notes. Access these records as you need them right from your dashboard.

  We're constantly working to improve our online learning system to provide the best user experience possible for all of our subscribers. In pursuit of this goal we gladly present to you our new "News & Updates" page! 

  When you log in to your account this page will be the first thing you see and will serve as a hub where you can be brought up to date on the latest training titles being added to the system, new features being added, and any other important announcements we may make.

  Next to some updates you'll see a red "pin"; when important announcements are added they will be "pinned" to stay at the top of your news feed. This is to ensure you don't miss out on the updates we know you need to see!
